Emilie’s journey started as a Digital Journalist, then in Digital Entrepreneurship: “I learned so much while living in different countries and especially China. I have met the most powerful minds who shaped my vision and gave me the reasons to dare. Coming from a very little town mainly with dreams in my pocket, I know what it took to be able to make it, the persistance, the struggle, not to say sorry for who we are and where we want to go. Since then, I have discovered new sources of inspiration and inventions that not only have changed my life but also gave me the opportunity to develop myself in a very easy manner. This is what I call “the self digital revolution”, this ability to build what we want thanks to this new world of technologies. It has never been easier to make our dreams come true.”
Motivating female entrepreneurs
Mao said: "Women hold up half the sky". Through these women creators, we discover the main road to success is to never give up. The result is incredible: today, two thirds of the world's billionaire women entrepreneurs come from China. In Hong Kong, half of the millionaire entrepreneurs are women. They even have the luxury of earning more than their male counterparts: their average wealth ($3.7 million) exceeds that of their male counterparts by $400,000. Thus, Chinese women always rise up. Sharp, dynamic, "business minded", they do not hesitate. They don't shy away from anything: "Many of us started from nothing, which made us want to have everything". At a time when we talk more than ever about women's empowerment, it is interesting to observe how Chinese women have an instinctive sense of business, how they don't hesitate to launch themselves without any real training or financial support to reach very high levels in record time: “Their temperament that I have been observing for 15 years now never ceases to fascinate me and make me grow. It’s time to spread the keys of success and to stay motivated.”
